Since 1972, Maxwell’s has been part of first dates, theatre nights, birthdays, and late-night burgers.
This February, we’re celebrating the guests who’ve been with us the longest.

If you remember the original Hampstead venue - or have a favourite memory from the early days - share your story for the chance to win exclusive Maxwell’s rewards.

Anyone aged 18+ with a Maxwell’s memory to share, whether it’s from Hampstead, the early Soho days, or more recent visits.

The winner will receive 50% off Maxwell’s food and drink when dining with us, subject to fair use and standard terms (see T&Cs below).

Old Timers Competition – Key Terms

  • Open to UK residents aged 18+

  • Entry via online submission form only

  • One entry per person; photo upload counts as one additional entry

  • No purchase necessary

  • Entry closes 8 March at 11:59pm

  • Winners selected by the Maxwell’s team based on story originality, nostalgia and creativity

  • 1 Grand Prize: 50% off Maxwell’s food & drink for life (non-transferable, subject to fair use and reasonable limits)

  • 10 Runner-up prizes: 25% off Family Cards

  • Discounts are not awarded for entry alone

  • Winners announced and contacted on 30 April

  • By entering, you grant Maxwell’s permission to use your submitted story and/or photos for marketing purposes

  • Maxwell’s reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion at any time

  • Prizes can be claimed by one person only. It can not be claimed as part of a group.
